J. S. Bach - Partita 3
This is a keyboard score of J. S. Bach’s Partita 3, BWV 827, based on the first complete edition published in 1731. This score was edited and engraved by Dr. Dominic Florence, and is presented without fingering or other editorial additions to preserve the original intentions of the composer.
J. S. Bach’s partitas are some of his most popular and rewarding pieces. They are made of dance movements inspired by various European traditions. This score is the third partita, which is in A minor. This work is lesser known among the partitas, and is a suitable choice for performers who wish to present their audience with something they might not have heard in concert. It is also a good starting point before attempting the more difficult partitas.
