J. S. Bach - Partita 4

This is a keyboard score of J. S. Bach’s Partita 4, BWV 828, based on the first complete edition published in 1731. This score was edited and engraved by Dr. Dominic Florence, and is presented without fingering or other editorial additions to preserve the original intentions of the composer.

J. S. Bach’s partitas are some of his most popular and rewarding pieces. They are made of dance movements inspired by various European traditions. This score is the fourth partita, which is in D major. It is one of the longer and more difficult partitas, and it is not performed as often as the others. Exploration of this piece is for the adventurous student.
